Super excited to announce a new collaboration at Living Wine.⁣
We’re now working with @thibaud_capellaro and will offer his wines in NY and beyond.⁣

Thibaud is making wine in the Condrieu and Ampuis area, at the north of the north rhône region, home of Condrieu and Côte Rotie appellations. But unlike many, he is not afraid to shake the established order of these prestigious appellations to make wines at his taste, and he has excellent tastes 🤪.⁣

Following a low intervention approach, subtle extraction, neutral elevage, fruit forward, not afraid to experiment new blends. His wines are alive, electric, balanced and, well, just super well done.

We’re waiting for now for three cuvées of his Slope project.⁣

💥 𝙇𝙖 𝘾𝙖𝙣𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝟸𝟶𝟷𝟿 💥 ⁣
A very original blend of Viognier and Syrah (well, this is not original for Côte Rotie, but the proportions are original…) that works super well.⁣

💥 𝙆𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙖 𝟸𝟶𝟷𝟿 💥⁣
A collaboration with another grower for a blend of Gamay and Syrah where both varieties are amplified more than neutralized by the blend. ⁣

💥 𝙏𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙖 𝟸𝟶𝟷𝟿 💥 ⁣
An authentic Syrah that comes at the perfect time for fall and winter meals, but that I am sure we will drink all year long (if we have enough).⁣

Small quantities, as with all artisans we are working with.⁣
Many other projects in his cellar, for new wines to come in 2021 and further, stay tuned!⁣

Having started my wine journey in Cornas, I’m super happy to finally add a winemaker from the area 😃.⁣
